These rules protect fair gameplay, the classic 8.0 economy and the long-term Dathoria community.
Players must treat others with respect. Rivalry, PvP, guild wars and competition are part of the game, but personal abuse is not allowed.
Character names must fit the game world and must not be used to offend, deceive or advertise.
Public channels exist for communication, trade and community interaction. They must not be abused.
Dathoria is a manual-play server. Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage is forbidden.
Only the official Dathoria Client may be used to connect to the server.
Players must report bugs instead of abusing them. Using a bug knowingly is considered a serious violation.
Normal PvP tactics are allowed. Game-breaking abuse or unintended mechanics are not.
Each player is fully responsible for their own account, characters and login information.
Selling or buying in-game assets for real money outside official Dathoria systems is prohibited.
Buying, selling or trading accounts is strongly discouraged and may be restricted by the staff whenever it threatens security or fairness.
Players may never pretend to be official representatives of Dathoria.
Reports help protect the server. They must be truthful and made in good faith.
The Dathoria Administration has the final decision regarding rule interpretation, investigations and punishments.
Punishments are applied according to severity, intent, history and damage caused.
Players are expected to respect the challenge of the game and the effort of other players.
