Store them safely until the Library Tomb is complete.

Rewards

Access / Unlocks
Ability to charge the Helmet of the Ancients with one Small Ruby for 30 minutes of Armor 11

Quest Notes

Explore the seven Pharaoh tombs in any order, obtain one decaying pass from each Pharaoh, claim the seven helmet pieces from their sarcophagi, defeat Ashmunrah in the Library Tomb and assemble the Helmet of the Ancients.

Objective: Collect all seven helmet pieces, survive the Library Tomb, activate Ashmunrah's final switches and place every piece on the assembly table to create the Helmet of the Ancients.

Walkthrough

  1. Prepare a level 75+ Premium character, supplies for long tomb routes, a Shovel and at least eight Scarab Coins. A team with a blocker and several shooters is highly recommended.
  2. Complete the seven Pharaoh tombs in any order. In each tomb, uncover the entrance, sacrifice one Scarab Coin, pass the level gate, complete the unique puzzle and kill the Pharaoh.
  3. Loot the Pharaoh's guaranteed decaying pass. Carry it through the correct post-boss teleport and open the personal sarcophagus to receive that Pharaoh's helmet piece.
  4. Repeat a Pharaoh kill for every team member who needs that piece; one corpse contains only one pass.
  5. After all seven permanent pieces are secured, enter the Library Tomb, defeat Ashmunrah and set the final levers to the required position to reach the assembly room.
  6. Place all seven pieces on their matching table positions. Trigger the assembly only after every piece is present; the pieces are consumed and the Helmet of the Ancients is created.
  7. Optional: charge the finished helmet with one Small Ruby. The Full Helmet has Armor 11 for 30 minutes and then returns automatically to the normal Armor 8 helmet.

Complete Tomb-by-Tomb Guide

Preparation and the Common Tomb Entrance

The same basic access rules apply to all eight ancient tombs.

Items for this route
  • Level 75+
  • Premium Account
  • Shovel
  • 1 Scarab Coin per entry
  • Rope, Pick and full hunting supplies
Complete step-by-step
  1. Travel to the selected tomb around Ankrahmun and use a Shovel on its hidden sand entrance until the hole opens.
  2. Descend through the upper floors and reach the Mystic Flame and Coal Basin mechanism.
  3. Stand on the flame and place exactly one Scarab Coin on the basin. The coin is consumed and the positioned player is sent to the deep tomb.
  4. Pass the level 75 gate and complete that tomb's route. Do not assume that a teammate opening a mechanism permanently solves it for later visits.
  5. After killing the Pharaoh, immediately loot the special pass. The passes decay and must not be left in the corpse.
  6. Walk into the matching post-boss teleport while carrying the pass. The pass is consumed and you reach the personal sarcophagus room.
  7. Open the sarcophagus and keep the permanent helmet piece. If the team needs more pieces, wait for the Pharaoh to respawn and repeat the kill.
Important route notes
  • Do not step into the post-boss teleport without checking who carries the pass.
  • A player without the correct pass is sent out instead of entering the reward room.
  • Carry spare Scarab Coins because death or a return trip requires another sacrifice.

Mountain Tomb — Dipthrah

Reward path: Ornamented Ankh → Damaged Helmet.

Items for this route
  • Dwarven Ring recommended
  • Ornamented Ankh
  • Damaged Helmet
Complete step-by-step
  1. Enter the Mountain Tomb and activate all eleven route switches. The teleport does not open until every required switch has been used.
  2. Continue to the inscription-door puzzle and follow this exact order: endless, pale-faced, deceased, unholy, doomed, righteous, sharpened, mortal.
  3. Use a Dwarven Ring before the dangerous drunkenness sections so movement remains controllable.
  4. Defeat Dipthrah and the creatures or fixed mechanisms in his chamber.
  5. Loot the Ornamented Ankh, enter Dipthrah's teleport and open the sarcophagus to receive the Damaged Helmet.
Important route notes
  • The first eleven switches may be activated in any order, but all are required.
  • A wrong inscription door sends you through the failure route; follow the words exactly.

Shadow Tomb — Mahrdis

Reward path: Burning Heart → Helmet Ornament.

Items for this route
  • Fire protection recommended
  • Burning Heart
  • Helmet Ornament
Complete step-by-step
  1. Advance through the Shadow Tomb and watch the purple-fire mechanisms. Cross when the dangerous state allows a safe movement window.
  2. Do not waste supplies trying to destroy the fixed fire mechanisms; they are part of the tomb.
  3. Clear Mahrdis's room carefully, including Dragons, Dragon Lord, summons and fixed throwers present in the chamber.
  4. Loot the Burning Heart, use the matching teleport and open the sarcophagus for the Helmet Ornament.
Important route notes
  • The purple fire is a timed map mechanism, not an ordinary removable field.
  • Keep the team together so isolated players are not trapped by the fire cycle.

Tarpit Tomb — Morguthis

Reward path: Sword Hilt → Right Horn.

Items for this route
  • Rope
  • Sword Hilt
  • Right Horn
Complete step-by-step
  1. Follow the long Tarpit route through holes, rope spots, trap teleports and Deathslicer corridors.
  2. Touch every required blue flame during the same route attempt. The final passage remains blocked until the complete flame sequence has been registered.
  3. Use the correct teleports and avoid trap destinations that return or redirect the team.
  4. Defeat Morguthis and his summons.
  5. Loot the Sword Hilt, enter the correct teleport and claim the Right Horn from the sarcophagus.
Important route notes
  • Deathslicers are route hazards and should not be treated as normal killable monsters.
  • The blue-flame progress resets after the final passage, so every return requires completing the route again.

Peninsula Tomb — Omruc

Reward path: Crystal Arrow → Helmet Adornment.

Items for this route
  • Coins for the floor puzzle
  • Crystal Arrow
  • Helmet Adornment
Complete step-by-step
  1. Reach the Peninsula Tomb maze and inspect the special floor path before moving the whole team.
  2. Place coins on the required path tiles so the route can be crossed. The coins must be physically positioned; merely carrying them does not solve the puzzle.
  3. Move one player at a time where necessary and protect the placed coins from being removed during the crossing.
  4. Defeat Omruc, who uses invisibility and summons, together with the fixed mechanisms in his chamber.
  5. Loot the Crystal Arrow and exchange it through the teleport for the Helmet Adornment.
Important route notes
  • Bring more coins than the visible minimum in case a placement is wrong.
  • Do not clear the coin path until every member who needs the boss has crossed.

Oasis Tomb — Rahemos

Reward path: Ancient Rune → Helmet Piece.

Items for this route
  • Carrot obtained during the puzzle
  • Ancient Rune
  • Helmet Piece
Complete step-by-step
  1. Complete the Oasis lever and three-hat carrot puzzle. Choose carefully; an incorrect attempt resets the mechanism.
  2. Use the successful carrot stage to open the next passage before the door resets.
  3. Cross the bridge and false-wall sections, keeping the group clear of tiles that change when the lever is used.
  4. Defeat Rahemos and the Warlock or summons in his room.
  5. Loot the Ancient Rune, take the reward teleport and open the sarcophagus for the Helmet Piece.
Important route notes
  • The carrot obtained inside the puzzle is the intended key; complete the mechanism instead of relying on an outside food item.
  • Do not stand on the moving bridge when another player resets its lever.

Stone Tomb — Thalas

Reward path: Cobrafang Dagger → Gem Holder.

Items for this route
  • Fast team movement
  • Active poison condition
  • Cobrafang Dagger
  • Gem Holder
Complete step-by-step
  1. Pull all eight Thalas switches within approximately four minutes. Coordinate the team before touching the first switch.
  2. After the switches are complete, use the poison mechanism so the character has an active poison condition.
  3. Approach the tomb's snake or statue mechanism while still poisoned and use the required interaction to pass the check.
  4. Defeat Thalas, Plaguethrowers, Necromancers and his numerous Slime summons.
  5. Loot the Cobrafang Dagger and use it through the post-boss teleport to claim the Gem Holder.
Important route notes
  • If the timer expires, the switches reset and must all be activated again.
  • Do not cure poison before completing the snake/statue passage.

Ancient Ruins Tomb — Vashresamun

Reward path: Blue Note → Left Horn.

Items for this route
  • Blue Note
  • Left Horn
Complete step-by-step
  1. Reach the musical chamber and use the instruments in this exact sequence: Drum, Flute, Guitar or Lute, Harp, Horn or Trumpet.
  2. An incorrect instrument resets the sequence. Begin again from the Drum.
  3. After the fifth correct note, use the opened passage and continue to Vashresamun.
  4. Defeat Vashresamun, Banshees, summons and the fixed throwers.
  5. Loot the Blue Note, use the matching teleport and claim the Left Horn.
Important route notes
  • The instrument graphics may use classic names that differ slightly, but the five-note order is fixed.
  • No achievement is granted; achievements are not part of Dathoria's Tibia 8.0 content.

Library Tomb — Ashmunrah

Final combat and access to the helmet assembly room.

Items for this route
  • All seven permanent helmet pieces
  • One Scarab Coin for the Library Tomb entry
  • Full team supplies
Complete step-by-step
  1. Only start the final expedition after confirming that the seven pieces are safe and available: Damaged Helmet, Helmet Ornament, Right Horn, Helmet Adornment, Helmet Piece, Gem Holder and Left Horn.
  2. Enter the Library Tomb using the normal Shovel and Scarab Coin process, then pass the level 75 gate.
  3. Advance through purple fire, throwers and the Library route before entering Ashmunrah's chamber.
  4. Defeat Ashmunrah and the Behemoth, Ghosts, Green Djinns, Ancient Scarabs or summons in the room. Ashmunrah does not drop a helmet pass.
  5. After the fight, set every final lever to the required right-hand position. When the complete set is correct, enter the teleport to the assembly room.
Important route notes
  • Ashmunrah needs to be killed once for the team; there is no eighth pass or eighth piece.
  • Keep the team off the lever and teleport tiles while arranging the final mechanism.

Final Assembly and Small Ruby Charge

Consume the seven pieces to create the permanent Helmet of the Ancients.

Items for this route
  • Damaged Helmet
  • Helmet Ornament
  • Right Horn
  • Helmet Adornment
  • Helmet Piece
  • Gem Holder
  • Left Horn
  • Optional Small Ruby
Complete step-by-step
  1. In the final room, place each of the seven pieces on its matching position around the assembly table. Verify every sprite before triggering the mechanism.
  2. Keep only one player operating the table. When all seven correct pieces are present, trigger the assembly tile or table mechanism.
  3. The seven pieces are consumed and one Helmet of the Ancients is created. Pick it up immediately and verify Armor 8.
  4. To charge the helmet, use or place one Small Ruby according to the assembly mechanism while the normal Helmet of the Ancients is present.
  5. The helmet becomes the Full Helmet of the Ancients with Armor 11 for 30 minutes. The timer continues normally and it returns to the Armor 8 helmet when the duration ends.
Important route notes
  • Never mix pieces from two players on the assembly table.
  • The completed helmet is permanent, but the Armor 11 charge is temporary.
  • A Soul Ruby does not create a permanent charge in Dathoria 8.0.

Dathoria Tips

  • Assign one team member to carry and verify each pass before anyone enters a post-boss teleport.
  • Bring spare Scarab Coins, Dwarven Rings and enough supplies to wait for Pharaoh respawns when several players need the same piece.
  • Photograph or write down which pieces every player already owns before the expedition.
  • Do not begin Thalas's first switch until all eight positions are assigned.
  • At the final table, stop moving items as soon as the seventh piece is placed and let only the designated player trigger assembly.
