Nine missions in strict order: report every objective to Hairycles, destroy three different casks, break four amphoras, activate all six final levers and use your own Snake Destroyer on the monument.

Requirements

  • Premium Account is required for the involved mainland areas.
  • There is no formal level gate for the full questline, but the final Banuta route is dangerous; level 70+ and a team are strongly recommended.
  • Complete all nine missions in order. Hairycles never accepts a later objective before its mission is active.
  • Report every completed objective to Hairycles by saying mission before asking for the next one.
  • Reserve free capacity and at least one free inventory position before accepting Mission 9 so Hairycles can give the Snake Destroyer.
  • Each character must personally collect or deliver mission items and personally use the Snake Destroyer on the final monument.

Quest Notes

Complete Hairycles' nine classic Tibia 8.0 missions to cure and protect the ape people, expose the lizard cult, enter the Forbidden Lands and destroy the Snake God monument in the deepest Banuta catacombs.

Objective: Complete every Hairycles mission in strict order, report each objective before requesting the next mission and preserve every quest item until Hairycles accepts it.

Outfit Method

  1. Complete the required access first: Hydra Egg Quest, Shaman Outfits Quest.
  2. Collect every item listed in Required materials before starting the turn-in.
  3. Go to Hairycles in/near Banuta / Trapwood / Chor / Ankrahmun / Fibula / Forbidden Lands / Deep Banuta.
  4. Say: hi, first the ape city quest addon, yes. The NPC removes the first-addon materials and unlocks the first addon.
  5. Say: hi, second the ape city quest addon, yes. The NPC removes the second-addon materials and unlocks the second addon.
  6. Open Set Outfit on your character and enable the unlocked addon(s).

Walkthrough

  1. Find Hairycles inside Banuta. Say hi, mission, yes, yes to accept the long test of friendship and begin Mission 1.
  2. Recover Whisper Moss from the eastern upper level of the Dworc lair south of Port Hope. Return to Hairycles, say mission and confirm yes.
  3. Ask mission again. Obtain the special Flask of Cough Syrup from Padreia in Carlin, return to Hairycles and confirm the delivery.
  4. Accept the Chor mission, enter the lizard village south-east of the jungle and take the Old Parchment from the magician's hut. Deliver it to Hairycles.
  5. Accept the deciphering mission. Take a Shovel to the desert east of Ankrahmun, uncover the hidden tomb and step on the inscription tile between the two huge red stones. Return to Hairycles and report mission.
  6. Accept the Hydra Egg mission and deliver one Hydra Egg. Ask for another mission and accept the Witches' Cap task.
  7. Travel to Fibula, enter the secret dungeon and collect the Witches' Cap from its quest spot. Return it to Hairycles to complete the life charm.
  8. Accept the cask mission. Take a Crowbar into the lizard temple below Banuta and destroy all three different red-fluid casks. Return to Hairycles and say mission.
  9. Accept the Holy Ape mission. Find The Blind Prophet in the mountain cave east of the Forbidden Lands, say hi, transport, yes and enter only after Hairycles has authorised you.
  10. Inside the Forbidden Lands, find Bong's enormous footprint and take one Giant Ape's Hair. Return to Hairycles, say mission and confirm the delivery.
  11. Accept the final catacombs mission. Make sure you have capacity and one free inventory position; Hairycles gives you the Snake Destroyer.
  12. Enter the deepest Banuta catacombs. Break the four large amphoras, pass the unlocked teleport and activate all six required levers.
  13. Use the gate lever while all six levers are active, pass the timed wall and reach the Snake God monument.
  14. Use the Snake Destroyer directly on the intact cobra statue. Each player must do this personally; wait for the statue to restore before the next teammate attempts it.
  15. Return to Hairycles and say mission. After he recognises the destroyed monument, say outfit or shamanic and confirm yes to unlock both male and female Shaman outfits permanently.

  5. Return to Hairycles and say mission, yes. He removes exactly one Whisper Moss.

Mission 2 — The Cure

Bring the only cough syrup Hairycles can use.

Steal the lizard magician’s written evidence from Chor.

Mission 4 — Decyphering

Memorise the matching symbols in an Ankrahmun tomb.

Mission 8 — The Holy Ape

Enter the Forbidden Lands and recover a hair left by Bong.

  5. Use the footprint to receive one Giant Ape's Hair.

Mission 9 — The Deepest Catacombs

Break four amphoras, activate six levers and destroy the Snake God monument.

  1. Ask Hairycles for mission and confirm yes. Keep one inventory position and enough capacity for the Snake Destroyer.
  2. Enter the deepest Banuta catacombs through the newly authorised teleport.
  3. Locate and break all four large amphoras. The next teleport remains blocked until all four are visibly broken.
  4. Proceed to the lever section and activate all six required levers. They must be active together.
  5. Use the final gate lever, cross the temporary opening and do not stand in the wall position when the timer expires.
  6. Reach the intact cobra statue and use the Snake Destroyer directly on it.
  7. Wait for the monument to restore before another teammate uses their own Snake Destroyer.
  8. Return to Hairycles and say mission to complete the quest.
  9. Say outfit or shamanic, then yes. Dathoria permanently grants both male and female Shaman looktypes.
