Requirements
- Free Account characters may complete the quest; Premium Account is not required.
- There is no mandatory level gate. Level 4 or higher is recommended because Seymour gives the proper mission explanation from level 4 and the cave route contains Trolls, Orcs and a Minotaur.
- Bring a Rope for the traditional northern cave route and safe return through rope spots.
- Carry food, basic healing, a shield and a suitable weapon for the underground route.
- Keep at least 35 oz of free capacity and one free inventory position before opening the Present chest.
- A party is not required. Another player may help clear the route, but every character must open the chest separately to obtain the one-time Backpack.

The Cup, Plate and Jug inside the Backpack are bonus contents and are not requested by Seymour.The chest reward is one-time per character. After it has been opened, the same character sees it as empty.The Seymour exchange checks only whether you carry a Present. It does not require the Present to come from your own quest chest.Because Presents are movable and tradeable, additional Presents obtained from other players can be exchanged again.

Seymour wants to send the King a present but lacks a suitable box. Travel through the northern Rookgaard caves to the chest beside the Bear Room lever, claim the Backpack containing a Cup, Plate, Jug and Present, then take the Present to Seymour in the Academy. He removes one Present and rewards you with one Legion Helmet.
Objective: Reach the Present chest, obtain the Present from inside its reward Backpack and exchange that Present with Seymour for a Legion Helmet.
Walkthrough
- Optional: visit Seymour on the ground floor of the Academy of Rookgaard at approximately 32103, 32195, 7. Say hi and then mission or quest. At level 4 or higher he explains that he needs a suitable box for a present to the King.
- Prepare a Rope, food, healing, a shield and at least 35 oz of free capacity.
- Leave Rookgaard town toward the abandoned northern building and descend into the northern cave system.
- Follow the normal underground route through the Rat, Spider and Troll passages, then continue deeper through the Orc sections.
- Reach the large room containing Orcs, a Minotaur, a large table, barrels and the Bear Room lever.
- Clear or lure the monsters. The Present chest is beside the lever, at approximately 32149, 32105, 11. It is separate from the three Bear Room reward chests.
- Open the Present chest. With at least 35 oz of free capacity, you receive one Backpack containing exactly one Cup, one Plate, one Jug and one Present.
- Return to the Academy of Rookgaard and speak with Seymour.
- Say hi, then present. Seymour asks: Do you have a suitable present box for me?
- Carry the Present in your inventory and answer yes. Seymour removes one Present and gives one Legion Helmet.
- Keep the Legion Helmet if you want to use it for the Citizen Outfit addon, or trade it normally. The exchange itself may be repeated whenever you bring another Present.

Part 1 — Ask Seymour About the Mission

- Find Seymour on the ground floor of the Academy of Rookgaard, near the centre of town.
- Say hi. Seymour welcomes you to the Academy.
- Say mission or quest. At level 4 or higher, he says he wants to send the King a little present but has no suitable box.
- Characters below level 4 receive his beginner Rat task explanation instead. This does not block the chest or the Present exchange.
Important route notes
- You do not need to activate a storage with Seymour before opening the chest.
- The keywords mission and quest are aliases and lead to the same response for an eligible character.
Part 2 — Reach the Present Chest
Travel to the large Orc and Minotaur room in the northern Rookgaard caves.

- Leave town to the north and enter the abandoned northern building.
- Descend and follow the classic cave route through Rats, Spiders and Trolls.
- Continue downward into the Orc caves, using ladders, holes and rope spots as required.
- Reach the large room with Orcs, one Minotaur, a large table and the lever used by the Bear Room Quest.
- The Present chest is immediately beside that lever. Kill or lure the nearby monsters before opening it.
- Open the chest to receive the Backpack. The server requires more than 35 capacity at the moment of collection.
Important route notes
- This chest is not one of the Bear Room Quest reward chests and does not require Key 4601.
- No Pick, key or lever activation is required to claim the Present Backpack itself.
- The chest can be collected only once by each character.
Part 3 — Exchange the Present
Return to Seymour and use the exact Present dialogue.

- Say present. The words present box and box are useful conversational variants, but present is the exact exchange keyword used by the server.
- When Seymour asks whether you have a suitable present box, answer yes.
- If you carry a Present, Seymour removes one and gives one Legion Helmet.
- Repeat present + yes whenever you have another Present and want another Legion Helmet.
Important route notes
- Answering yes without a Present triggers Seymour's warning and gives no reward.
- The Cup, Plate and Jug are not removed and may be kept, used or traded.

Dathoria Tips
- Do not confuse the Present chest beside the lever with the three reward chests inside the locked Bear Room.
- Make sure you have more than 35 oz of free capacity before opening the chest; otherwise the server refuses the reward.
- Keep the Present in an accessible container before speaking to Seymour.
- Use present first and answer yes only after Seymour asks the question.
- If mission or quest gives the Rat task text, your character is below level 4; you may still collect the chest and exchange a Present normally.
- Do not hand over the Legion Helmet if you plan to complete the Citizen Outfit Feather Hat addon later.
