Requirements

  • No level gate is required. Level 3 or higher is recommended for the underground routes.
  • The two Free Account Small Axe rewards can be reached without Premium Account.
  • The third Small Axe reward is inside the Premium Area and requires Premium Account access.
  • Each of the three Small Axe reward points is independent and can be claimed once per character.
  • A character may therefore collect all three Small Axes without one reward blocking either of the others.
  • Carry at least one Small Axe when speaking with Al Dee. The axe is consumed during the exchange.
  • Keep at least one free inventory position and enough capacity for the Pick.
  • Premium is not required by the detected Dathoria quest data

Quest Notes

Rookgaard contains three independent Small Axe reward points: two in the Free Account area and one in the Premium Account area. Every character may collect all three Small Axes once each. Take any one Small Axe to Al Dee and exchange it for a Pick by saying the exact keywords pick and yes.

Objective: Collect a Small Axe from one or more of the three independent quest points, then take one Small Axe to Al Dee and exchange it for one Pick.

Walkthrough

  1. Choose any of the three Small Axe locations. Locations 1 and 2 are in the Free Account area; location 3 is in the Premium Area.
  2. Reach the reward container or corpse at the listed position and use it. Each location gives one Small Axe once per character.
  3. You may visit all three locations with the same character. Their completion states are independent.
  4. Return to Rookgaard town and find Al Dee in his general equipment shop.
  5. Carry at least one Small Axe and say hi.
  6. Say pick. Al Dee asks whether you want to exchange a high-quality Small Axe for a Pick.
  7. Say yes. Al Dee removes one Small Axe and gives one Pick.
  8. Verify that the Pick entered your inventory before leaving the NPC.
