- Free Account characters can complete the quest; Premium Account is not required.
- There is no technical level requirement, vocation requirement or level door. Level 8 or higher is recommended for a safer solo run.
- Bring one Shovel to open the correct grave and one Rope for the classic rope spot and return route.
- Carry enough healing, food and free capacity for the Key, Katana and Viking Helmet.
- No NPC dialogue, payment, party, boss kill or previous quest is required.
- Premium is not required by the detected Dathoria quest data

A classic Tibia 8.0 Rookgaard adventure beneath the north-eastern tombs. Open the correct grave with a Shovel, survive Spiders, Skeletons, Rotworms and four Poison Fields, recover Silver Key 4603, unlock the lower passage, use the hidden lever and collect both final rewards from the Katana Room.
Objective: Reach the Katana Room, obtain both the Katana and Viking Helmet, and leave safely. Silver Key 4603 is an access item found during the route and is not one of the two final rewards.
Walkthrough
- Travel to the tombs north-east of Rookgaard and use your Shovel on the correct grave to open the underground entrance.
- Descend and follow the cave through Spiders and the Poison Spider. Continue west and downward into the Skeleton section.
- Defeat or bypass the Skeletons, follow the passage east and use your Rope at the rope spot to enter the Rotworm area.
- Cross the Rotworm section and the four Poison Fields. Heal before entering the narrow passages where retreat can be difficult.
- Search the corpse in the northern section to obtain Silver Key 4603. Keep the key in your inventory.
- Return south, continue east and descend to the lower corridor. Use Silver Key 4603 on the matching locked door.
- Go down to the final level, kill or block the two Skeletons and Rotworm, then use the lever hidden behind the northern white pillar to open the Katana Room.
- Enter the room and open both reward corpses: one contains the Katana and the other contains the Viking Helmet.
- Confirm that both items entered your inventory. Use the emergency exit teleport if another player closes the door, or return through the normal route.

Part 1 — Open the North-Eastern Tomb
The quest starts by exploration; no NPC activates it.

Complete step-by-step
- Leave Rookgaard town and walk to the group of tombs in the north-eastern part of the island.
- Locate the correct grave and use the Shovel on it. The grave opens into the Katana Quest cave.
- Descend immediately and keep the Shovel and Rope in your inventory for the rest of the route.
- Fight or bypass the nearby Spiders and Poison Spider, then follow the passage west and continue downward.
Important route notes
- Premium Account, a mission keyword and a level door are not involved.
- Do not confuse this grave with nearby tomb entrances leading to other Rookgaard cave sections.
Part 2 — Skeleton Passage and Rope Spot
Clear the narrow corridor before committing to the Rotworm area.

- Continue through the lower cave until you reach the Skeleton section.
- Kill the Skeletons before moving deeper so they do not follow and block your escape route.
- Follow the passage toward the eastern rope spot.
- Use the Rope on the rope spot to enter the area populated by several Rotworms.
Important route notes
- The Rope is mandatory for the classic route.
- A low-level character should use corners and narrow passages to avoid fighting several creatures simultaneously.
Part 3 — Rotworm Hell and Four Poison Fields
This is the most dangerous travel section for an inexperienced Rookgaard character.

- Enter the Rotworm room and move carefully toward the continuation of the cave.
- You may kill the Rotworms or run through in Defensive Fighting, but avoid being surrounded near holes and walls.
- Reach the corridor containing four Poison Fields and cross all four fields.
- Move off the fields before stopping to heal, then continue toward the northern corpse containing the key.
Important route notes
- Destroy Field is optional and is not required to complete the quest.
- Poison damage continues after leaving the fields, so do not wait until very low health before healing.
Part 4 — Obtain Silver Key 4603
The key is a physical access item and must be carried to the matching door.

- Search the corpse in the northern section beyond the Poison Fields.
- Take the Silver Key identified as Key 4603.
- Verify that the key entered your inventory before leaving the area.
- Return south, continue east and descend through the next hole toward the locked door.
Important route notes
- Silver Key 4603 is not consumed when opening its matching door.
- The key is not the final quest reward. You still need both corpses inside the Katana Room.
Part 5 — Unlock the Lower Door
Use the key on the matching door before descending to the final level.

- Clear the Skeleton in the corridor before using the key.
- Use Silver Key 4603 on the locked door and open it normally.
- Pass through the doorway and close it behind you only if doing so will not trap another player.
- Take the stairs down to the final Katana Room level.

- The key must remain in your inventory and is not consumed by the door.
- The door is a numbered-key door, not a quest door or level door.
Part 6 — Hidden Lever and Katana Room
The lever is concealed behind the northern white pillar.

- On the final level, deal with the two Skeletons and one Rotworm near the room entrance.
- Walk to the northern white pillar and use the hidden lever behind it.
- The lever opens the internal Katana Room door. Enter before another player changes its position.
- Do not attack or attempt to reach the Ghoul behind the sealed wall; it is not part of the quest objective.
Important route notes
- The lever controls only the internal room door and requires no storage or item sacrifice.
- An emergency teleport exists so a player inside cannot be permanently trapped if the door is closed.
Part 7 — Collect Both Final Rewards
Katana and Viking Helmet together complete the quest.

- Open the second reward corpse and collect the Viking Helmet.
- Check your inventory and confirm that both items were delivered successfully.

- Each reward corpse can be collected only once per character.
- On Dathoria, the Katana Quest is considered complete only after both the Katana and Viking Helmet have been received.
- If a corpse reports that it is empty, that specific reward was already collected by the character.

Dathoria Tips
- Bring more healing than you expect to need. Poison Fields and narrow Rotworm passages are the usual causes of death.
- Clear creatures near ladders, holes and the locked door before interacting with them so you are not trapped by respawns.
- Keep the Silver Key in your main backpack until the numbered door is open; do not leave it in a corpse or on the ground.
- Before opening the rewards, make room for both items. The Katana weighs 31.00 oz and the Viking Helmet weighs 39.00 oz.
- Open both corpses before leaving. Receiving only one item does not complete the full Katana Quest on Dathoria.
