Quest Notes

Complete the northern Ice Islands and Formorgar Mines storyline to receive the warm Norseman base outfit, then fuel Hjaern’s ritual with Frostheart Shards for both addons.

Objective: Reach the Retaliation stage, mark all four obelisks, report to Hjaern and deliver a total of fifteen Frostheart Shards in two stages.

Outfit Method

  1. Complete the required access first: Barbarian Test Quest, The Ice Islands Quest.
  2. Collect every item listed in Required materials before starting the turn-in.
  3. Go to Hjaern in/near Nibelor / Helheim / Formorgar Mines.
  4. Say: hi, first norseman addon, yes. The NPC removes the first-addon materials and unlocks the first addon.
  5. Say: hi, second norseman addon, yes. The NPC removes the second-addon materials and unlocks the second addon.
  6. Open Set Outfit on your character and enable the unlocked addon(s).

Walkthrough

  1. Complete the Ice Islands questline through Helheim and the Formorgar Mines missions.
  2. Receive the Spirit Charm of Cold from Hjaern and mark all four obelisks.
  3. Return to Hjaern to receive the base outfit and Yakchal access.
  4. Deliver five Frostheart Shards, ask for reward, then deliver ten more and ask for reward again.

  2. Travel through Formorgar Mines and use the charm on each of the four special obelisks.

  4. He removes the charm, opens Yakchal access and grants the Norseman base outfit.
