Four keys and two global mechanisms: collect Keys 3301-3304, use a genuine Power Ring and the correct Barrel on their exact tiles, then claim Bright Sword and Red Gem together.

Requirements

  • Level 45 or higher is mandatory for the protected underground entrance.
  • Premium Account is not required on Dathoria.
  • Bring a Rope, Shovel and Pick for the traditional route and emergency navigation.
  • Bring or locate one Power Ring (item 2166). An Energy Ring does not activate the mechanism.
  • Use the movable Barrel required by the final mechanism; place it on the exact pressure tile before pulling the lever.
  • Three movable parcels, boxes or Levitate are recommended for elevation points on the classic route.
  • Carry Keys 3301, 3302, 3303 and 3304 until the final reward has been reached.
  • Keep at least two free inventory slots and more than 29.30 oz of capacity for the Bright Sword and Red Gem reward bag.
  • Healing, mana supplies, Dwarven Rings and protection against physical and death damage are strongly recommended.

The numbered keys are normal reusable keys. They are not consumed when opening their matching doors.Keys 3301, 3302 and 3303 are obtained from hidden Outlaw Camp quest objects. Quest Notes

Explore the Outlaw Camp, collect Keys 3301, 3302 and 3303, pass the level 45 entrance, move the hidden oven to recover Golden Key 3304, solve the Power Ring and Barrel mechanisms, survive the final Demon Skeleton corridor and claim the Bright Sword and Red Gem. No NPC starts or finishes this quest.

Objective: Collect all four numbered keys, operate the oven, Power Ring and Barrel mechanisms in the correct order, unlock the final room with Key 3304 and claim the complete Bright Sword reward only once per character.

Walkthrough

  1. Prepare Rope, Shovel, Pick, one Power Ring, supplies and enough capacity. Characters below level 45 cannot pass the protected entrance.
  2. Travel from Venore toward the Outlaw Camp and collect the three external keys: Key 3301, Key 3302 and Key 3303. Check each key description before continuing.
  3. Use the numbered keys on their matching doors while progressing through the camp and descend into the underground complex.
  4. Pass the level 45 entrance and continue to the oven room. Pull the oven lever only when the movable oven is in its expected position.
  5. After the oven moves, open the revealed chest and collect the Golden Key marked 3304. Keep it for the final reward door.
  6. Reach the first mechanism room and place a Power Ring on the exact activation tile. Pull the lever to transfer the ring and remove the blocking wall.
  7. Continue to the lower mechanism, push the correct Barrel ID 1774 onto the exact barrel tile and ensure the transferred Power Ring remains in position.
  8. Pull the final lever. When every component is positioned correctly, the mechanism opens the route toward the Demon Skeleton corridor.
  9. Fight or carefully pass the final Skeletons and Demon Skeletons. Use Golden Key 3304 on the last locked door.
  10. Open the reward chest with sufficient capacity and inventory space. The complete reward is one Bright Sword and one Red Gem; both must be delivered together.

Complete Step-by-Step Guide

Part 1 — Prepare and Reach Outlaw Camp

The quest has no starting NPC; preparation and route knowledge are essential.

  1. Begin in Venore and travel west/south-west through the wilderness toward the Outlaw Camp.
  2. Clear or avoid Giant Spiders and other dangerous creatures on the approach. Low-level characters should not attempt this route alone.
  3. Enter the Outlaw Camp and identify the surface and underground passages before moving quest objects.
  4. Keep all numbered keys in an accessible backpack. A key with the wrong number will not open the next matching door.
  5. Do not discard tools after entering; the route contains holes, rope spots and elevation changes.
Important route notes
  • There is no NPC dialogue, mission keyword or activation storage before entering.
  • Level 45 is a real access restriction, not only a recommended level.
  • The quest can be completed solo, but two players make moving objects and fighting the final corridor safer.

Part 2 — Collect Keys 3301, 3302 and 3303

The first three keys are hidden in separate quest objects around Outlaw Camp.

Complete step-by-step
  1. Search the western/southern Outlaw Camp area for the hidden object that gives Key 3301.
  2. Use the quest object once and inspect the key description. It must show Key 3301.
  3. Continue through the camp to the second hidden object and collect Key 3302. Its description must show Key 3302.
  4. Reach the eastern section and collect Key 3303 from its separate quest object.
  5. Use each numbered key only on the door with the same action number. Keep every key after opening its door.
  6. If a quest object reports that it is empty, that character has already claimed that particular key.
Important route notes
  • Each key reward is individual per character; another player collecting a key does not remove yours permanently.
  • Normal unnumbered keys or copied keys with a different action number do not work.
  • Key 3303 is required to reach the oven and Key 3304 stage.

Part 3 — Pass the Level 45 Entrance

The protected entrance leads to the underground Bright Sword puzzle complex.

Complete step-by-step
  1. Follow the unlocked route until you reach the protected entrance tile.
  2. Step onto the entrance only with a level 45 or higher character.
  3. Characters below level 45 are returned and cannot bypass the restriction by following another player.
  4. After teleporting inside, verify the return route and continue carefully; monsters cannot activate this entrance.
  5. Proceed toward the oven room using Key 3303 where required.
Important route notes
  • The level gate is enforced by the server script.
  • Do not stand on the destination tile to block teammates entering after you.
  • No quest storage is consumed by entering; the restriction is based on character level.

Part 4 — Move the Oven and Obtain Golden Key 3304

The oven hides the final numbered key chest.

Complete step-by-step
  1. Reach the underground oven room and clear nearby creatures before using the lever.
  2. Locate the movable oven and the lever controlling its two positions.
  3. Make sure no player, monster or loose object blocks the destination tile of the oven.
  4. Pull the lever. A successful use moves the oven and reveals the hidden reward object behind it.
  5. Open the revealed chest and collect the Golden Key whose description shows Key 3304.
  6. Keep Key 3304 until the last locked door. Moving the oven alone does not complete the quest.
Important route notes
  • If the lever does not move, clear both oven tiles and try again. The lever no longer changes state when the oven movement fails.
  • Golden Key 3304 is individual per character and is not the final reward.
  • Do not confuse the oven lever with either of the two later Power Ring/Barrel levers.

Part 5 — Solve the Power Ring Mechanism

Only a Power Ring placed on the exact tile activates the first wall mechanism.

Complete step-by-step
  1. Reach the first mechanism room and locate the designated Power Ring tile beside the lever.
  2. Place exactly one Power Ring on that tile. An Energy Ring or any other ring will not work.
  3. Check that the blocking wall is still present and that the ring destination tile is clear.
  4. Pull the lever once. On success, the ring is transferred to the lower mechanism and the blocking wall is removed.
  5. If nothing happens, verify the ring type and exact tile; the lever remains usable after an invalid attempt.
  6. Continue through the newly opened route without taking or moving the transferred ring away from the next puzzle.
Important route notes
  • This is a global puzzle: another player may already have activated or reset it.
  • The Power Ring is a mechanism component, not a permanent quest reward.
  • Do not pick up the transferred ring; the final mechanism checks for it in its new position.

Part 6 — Position the Barrel and Open the Final Passage

The lower lever requires the transferred Power Ring, the correct Barrel and the original wall/stone state.

  1. Find the movable Barrel used by the quest and push it through the lower corridor.
  2. Place the Barrel on the exact activation tile beside the final mechanism. Adjacent tiles do not count.
  3. Confirm that the Power Ring transferred by the first lever is still on its expected tile.
  4. Clear players, creatures and loose objects from the wall and stone transformation tiles.
  5. Pull the final lever once. A correct setup consumes/uses the mechanism components and opens the route toward the final enemies.
  6. If the lever does not activate, recheck the Barrel sprite and position, the Power Ring position and whether another player changed the puzzle.
Important route notes
  • The correct server-side Barrel is item ID 1774; visually similar barrels may be rejected.
  • The lever does not change state when the setup is incomplete, so correct the objects and try again.
  • Do not spam the lever. Wait until all moving and transforming objects finish before proceeding.

Part 7 — Final Corridor, Key 3304 and Rewards

Survive the final room, unlock the last door and claim both rewards together.

Complete step-by-step
  1. Enter the opened corridor and prepare for Skeletons and three Demon Skeletons near the reward area.
  2. Kill the creatures or lure them safely before standing beside the final locked door.
  3. Use Golden Key 3304 on the matching door. The key is reusable and remains in your inventory.
  4. Enter the reward room and make sure you have enough capacity and inventory space.
  5. Open the final reward chest. You receive a Bag containing one Bright Sword and one Red Gem.
  6. Verify both items before leaving. The quest storage is marked only after the complete reward is added successfully.
  7. Using the chest again after completion reports that it is empty for that character.
Important route notes
  • Bright Sword: item 2407, Attack 36, Defense 30 with +1 extra defense, weight 29.00 oz.
  • Red Gem: item 2156, weight 0.30 oz.
  • If capacity or inventory space is insufficient, no completion storage is consumed; make room and use the chest again.
  • The rewards are transacted together to prevent receiving only one item.

Dathoria Tips

  • Inspect every key immediately after collecting it; the description must show the expected number.
  • Carry a genuine Power Ring, not an Energy Ring. This is the most common cause of the first mechanism failing.
  • Before moving the oven or pulling either puzzle lever, clear every destination tile of players, monsters and loose objects.
  • Do not take the Power Ring after the first mechanism transfers it; the second mechanism still needs it.
  • Push the quest Barrel onto the exact tile, not merely beside the lever.
  • Reserve more than 29.30 oz and two free inventory positions before opening the final chest.
  • If a mechanism appears already open, another player may have used it. Follow the open path instead of trying to force the lever back.
  • Keep Golden Key 3304 even after completion; it remains a reusable access key.
