Requirements

  • No minimum level is required, but level 25+ is recommended.
  • Premium Account is required for the complete questline and its travel routes.
  • Keep at least 500 oz of free capacity before taking the Letterbag in Mission 9.
  • Bring a Rope, Shovel and Crowbar before starting the long travel sections.

Quest Notes

A ten-mission classic Tibia 8.0 questline for the Tibian Postmaster's Guild. You will test postal routes, repair a mailbox, deliver special cargo, help design post officer uniforms, collect measurements, recover Waldo's posthorn, carry Santa's letters and finally deliver a letter to Markwin in Mintwallin.

Objective: Complete all ten missions for Kevin and advance through every Postmaster's Guild rank until you become an Arch Postman.

Walkthrough

  1. Find Kevin on the upper floor of the Post Office Headquarters between Thais, Kazordoon and Mount Sternum. Say hi, mission and confirm every part of his explanation with yes.
  2. Complete the missions strictly in order. After Missions 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10, ask Kevin for advancement when instructed to receive the next guild rank.
  3. Keep every quest item until it is accepted by its destination NPC. The page below lists the exact NPC keywords and the condition that confirms each mission.
  4. Before Mission 9, prepare exactly 500 oz or more of free capacity. Before Mission 10, prepare for the long and dangerous route through Ancient Temple to Mintwallin.

Complete Mission-by-Mission Guide

Mission 1 — Check the Postal Routes

Test four transport routes in Kevin's exact order.

  1. Start with Kevin at the Post Office Headquarters. Say hi, mission, then answer yes to every part of the briefing until he sends you to test the first route.
  2. Go to Captain Bluebear in Thais and travel from Thais to Carlin. Only this direction counts.
  3. Go to Uzon on Femor Hills and travel from Femor Hills to Edron.
  4. In Edron, use Captain Seahorse and travel from Edron to Venore.
  5. Reach the Kazordoon steamship area, speak with Brodrosch and travel from Kazordoon to Cormaya.
  6. Return to Kevin and say hi, mission, yes. Walking, teleporting or using the routes in reverse does not replace the required journeys.

Mission 2 — Repair the Folda Mailbox

Fix the stuck mailbox on the mountain of Folda.

  1. Ask Kevin for the next mission with hi, mission, yes.
  2. Travel from the coast northwest of Carlin to Folda with Nielson by saying hi, folda, yes.
  3. Cross Folda and climb to the mailbox on the mountain. Expect Frost Trolls, Winter Wolves and nearby Polar Bears.
  4. Use the Crowbar directly on the stuck mailbox. The Crowbar is not consumed.
  5. Return to Kevin and report the mission. Ask for advancement when he offers it to become an Assistant Postman.

Mission 3 — Deliver the Bill

Find the magician hiding as A Strange Fellow in Venore.

Complete step-by-step
  1. Ask Kevin for a mission. He gives you a Bill for David Brassacres.
  2. Go to the Hard Rock Tavern below the Venore depot and speak with A Strange Fellow.
  3. Question him about being a magician, his hat and rabbits until the subject of the bill is accepted.
  4. The Bill is removed only when the correct dialogue is completed. Return to Kevin afterwards.
  5. If the Bill was lost, return to Kevin and ask about the mission again to recover it before delivery.

Mission 4 — Aggressive Dogs

Donate 20 Bones to protect post officers from aggressive dogs.

  1. Ask Kevin for the next mission after completing the Bill delivery.
  2. Bring Bones to Kevin. You may deliver them gradually or deliver all remaining Bones at once.
  3. Use one to deliver one Bone, or all followed by yes to deliver as many as are still required.
  4. Kevin keeps an individual count and removes only the number still needed; excess Bones remain in your inventory.
  5. After the twentieth Bone, ask for advancement and confirm. You become a Postman and receive the Post Officer's Hat.

Mission 5 — Deliver the Present to Dermot

Carry Kevin's sealed Present safely to Fibula.

  1. Ask Kevin for the mission. He authorizes you to take the Present from the marked quest chest in the Post Office Headquarters.
  2. Take the Present and do not use or open it.
  3. Travel to Fibula and find Dermot. Say hi, present, yes to hand over the sealed package.
  4. Return to Kevin after Dermot accepts it.
  5. If the Present was opened, dropped or lost, return to Kevin and request a replacement before trying Dermot again.

Mission 6 — New Post Officer Uniforms

Coordinate the uniform design with Hugo, Talphion, Queen Eloise and Noodles.

  1. Ask Kevin for the mission, then go to Hugo in Venore. Say uniforms and dress pattern.
  2. Return to Kevin and say dress pattern. He sends you to Talphion in Kazordoon.
  3. Speak to Talphion and repeat dress pattern several times. The machinery causes him to misunderstand you until the complete dialogue sequence is finished.
  4. Return to Kevin and say dress pattern. He sends you to Queen Eloise in Carlin.
  5. Use the royal greeting hail queen, then say uniforms. Return to Kevin and discuss dress pattern again.
  6. Visit Noodles in King Tibianus' castle. Test the items in order: Banana Skin, Dirty Fur and Mouldy Cheese. For each item, ask Noodles to sniff it and then ask do you like that?.
  7. After the Mouldy Cheese reaction, return to Kevin and say dress pattern.
  8. Visit Hugo again and say dress pattern to finalize production.
  9. Return to Kevin, report the mission and ask for advancement. You become a Grand Postman and unlock the 10 gp transport discount.

Mission 7 — Collect Six Measurements

Collect measurements from Benjamin, Liane, Olrik, Lokur through Kroox, Dove and Chrystal.

  1. Ask Kevin for the next mission. The six measurements may be collected in any order.
  2. Benjamin in the Thais depot: say measurements and listen to his complete story.
  3. Liane in the Carlin depot: say measurements, yes and give exactly 12 Arrows.
  4. Olrik in Ab'Dendriel: say measurements and accept the dice game. A roll of 6 succeeds; unsuccessful attempts cost 5 gp.
  5. Lokur in Kazordoon: first say measurements to learn that Kroox knows his size. Then visit Kroox and ask for measurements.
  6. Dove in the Venore depot: say measurements, yes and give 1 Grapes.
  7. Chrystal in the Edron depot: say measurements and receive them directly.
  8. After all six are recorded, return to Kevin and say mission. He then assigns the Waldo operation.

Mission 8 — Find Waldo's Posthorn

Investigate the missing courier beneath Troll Mountain east of Thais.

  1. Accept the mission from Kevin after completing all six measurements.
  2. Leave Thais to the east and reach the troll mountain. Use the Shovel on the hidden hole that opens the underground route.
  3. Follow the cave through Trolls, Poison Spiders, Orcs and Orc Warriors until you find Waldo's body.
  4. Use the body to collect Waldo's Posthorn. The reward is individual; another player cannot empty it for your character.
  5. Return to Kevin and hand over Waldo's Posthorn.
  6. Ask for advancement and confirm. You become a Grand Postman for Special Operations and receive your permanent Post Horn.
  7. If Waldo's Posthorn is lost before delivery, return to his body and recover it again while the mission is active.

Mission 9 — Deliver Santa's Letterbag

Carry a 500 oz Letterbag to Santa's mailbox on Vega.

  1. Ask Kevin for the mission and free at least 500 oz of capacity before opening the Letterbag chest.
  2. Take the Letterbag from the authorized quest chest. If there is not enough capacity, clear more capacity and try again; the mission must not advance without the item.
  3. Travel to Vega using the northern island boat service and find Santa Claus' house.
  4. Use the Letterbag directly on Santa's special mailbox. It is converted into an empty Red Bag and the delivery is recorded.
  5. Return to Kevin and report the mission.
  6. If the Letterbag is lost before use, return to Kevin or the quest chest and recover it while the delivery is still pending.

Mission 10 — Deliver the Letter to Markwin

Reach the king of Mintwallin and complete the final Postman mission.

  1. Ask Kevin for the final mission. He gives you the Letter to Markwin.
  2. Enter Ancient Temple north of Thais and follow the underground route toward Mintwallin. Expect Rotworms, Poison Spiders, Orcs, Fire Devils, Cyclops and many Minotaurs.
  3. Reach Markwin's throne room. The first valid greeting triggers his guards once for your character. Defeat or control the fixed group of Minotaur Archers, Guards and Mage.
  4. Speak with Markwin again and say letter, yes. He recognizes the message from his mother and removes the quest letter.
  5. Return to Kevin and say mission. Then ask for advancement and confirm.
  6. You are promoted to Arch Postman and may use the special mailboxes in dangerous areas. The complete Postman questline is now finished.
  7. If the Letter to Markwin is lost before delivery, return to Kevin and recover it while Mission 10 is active.

  • Keep the page open and complete one mission card at a time. Do not try later NPCs before Kevin has assigned that stage.
  • Carry all three Noodles items and the materials for the six measurements before starting Missions 6 and 7 to avoid repeated travel.
  • Empty heavy equipment into your depot before Mission 9 so the 500 oz Letterbag can be collected safely.
  • For Mintwallin, bring poison recovery and enough healing for Minotaur Archers, Guards and Mages. A teammate may clear the path, but your character must deliver the letter.
