Requirements

  • Free Account characters may complete the quest; Premium Account is not required.
  • No minimum level, vocation or NPC mission is required. Level 5 or higher is recommended for new players.
  • Bring a Rope. Several rope spots are used on the return route and in connected Rookgaard caves.
  • Bring enough healing to survive Poison Spiders, Poison Fields and Skeletons.
  • Two Antidote Potions are recommended, although Small Health Potions can also cover the poison damage.
  • Keep at least two free inventory slots and enough capacity and inventory space for the letter and all 12 Salmons.
  • Do not eat all quest Salmons before speaking with Amber if you want to learn the Orcish word pixo.
  • Premium is not required by the detected Dathoria quest data

Quest Notes

Descend through the caves below Rookgaard's northern Poison Spider Tower, cross the Poison Fields, defeat the Skeleton guards and recover Captain Iglue's treasure. The active Dathoria treasure room contains two separate one-time reward containers: one gives the Stamped Letter entitled Treasure of Captain Iglue together with 6 Salmons, and the other gives 6 additional Salmons, for 12 Salmons in total. Take the Salmon to Amber to learn the Orcish words needed to trade safely with Blind Orc.

Objective: Reach Captain Iglue's treasure room, collect the Stamped Letter and all 12 quest Salmons, learn the essential Orcish vocabulary from Amber and use the exact Orcish purchase sequence with Blind Orc.

Walkthrough

  1. Prepare a Rope, healing supplies and preferably two Antidote Potions. Leave enough capacity for the rewards.
  2. Travel to the Poison Spider Tower north of Rookgaard and descend one floor.
  3. Walk south-east and descend through the first hole. Continue through the connected passage and use the next descent toward the deeper Poison Spider caves.
  4. On the floor containing several Poison Spiders and two Poison Fields, clear or lure the creatures and cross the fields. Heal immediately and use an Antidote Potion if needed.
  5. Descend again. Defeat the Poison Spiders on the next floor, then follow the passage west and south to the following descent.
  6. Continue through the creature-free passage until you reach the old stone construction. Go down the stairs and prepare for Skeletons.
  7. Defeat the two Skeletons guarding the southern treasure room. Two different one-time reward containers are present; open both.
  8. Open the first reward container to receive the Stamped Letter named Treasure of Captain Iglue and 6 Salmons.
  9. Open the second reward container to receive 6 additional Salmons, completing the total of 12. Confirm the items entered your inventory before leaving.
  10. Return through the connected caves using the rope spots, then visit Amber in Rookgaard Academy.
  11. Say hi, orc, prisoner, yes to learn mok; repeat prisoner, no to learn burp. Then say food, salmon, yes while carrying a Salmon to learn pixo.
  12. Travel to Blind Orc in the deep cave southwest of Rookgaard and use the exact Orcish dialogue listed below to buy equipment.

Part 1 — Northern Poison Spider Tower

  1. Leave Rookgaard town toward the northern Poison Spider Tower.
  2. Enter the tower and descend one level.
  3. Move south-east and use the first hole, then continue to the next descent in the connected passage.
  4. Clear Poison Spiders before entering narrow corridors so they cannot surround you.
Important route notes
  • The caves are highly interconnected; this is the direct route, not the only route.

Part 2 — Poison Fields and Rope Spots

Cross the dangerous middle section without wasting the quest rewards.

  1. Cross the floor with several Poison Spiders and two Poison Fields.
  2. Heal after leaving the fields and cure poison if the remaining damage is unsafe.
  3. Descend, clear the next Poison Spiders and follow the passage west and then south.
  4. Use the next descent and continue through the quiet stone passage.
  5. Remember the rope spots on the return route; do not enter without a Rope.
Important route notes
  • Poison Fields continue damaging you after you step off them.
  • Do not let low health carry into the Skeleton room.

Part 3 — Captain Iglue's Treasure Room

Open both one-time reward containers to collect the complete treasure.

  1. Descend the stairs in the old stone construction and kill the Skeleton guards.
  2. Open the first container for the Stamped Letter called Treasure of Captain Iglue and 6 Salmons.
  3. Open the second container for 6 more Salmons.
  4. Confirm the letter and Salmons are in your inventory before starting the return route.

Part 4 — Learn Orcish from Amber

One Salmon unlocks the word for arrows.

  2. Say hi, orc, prisoner, yes. Amber explains that yes is mok.
  3. Start the prisoner branch again and answer no. Amber explains that no is burp.

  5. Amber removes one Salmon and teaches pixo, the Orcish word for arrows.
Important route notes
  • The active Dathoria script consumes exactly one Salmon for pixo.
  • The words are not stored as a technical access flag; the player must type them correctly.

Part 5 — Trade with Blind Orc

Every purchase follows item keyword → mok.

  1. Reach Blind Orc at position 32102, 32129, 4 in the deep Rookgaard cave system.
  2. Say charach to greet him. Normal hi does not start the conversation.
  3. Say ikem goshak to ask what he sells, or ask a category with goshak porak, goshak bata or goshak dora.
  4. Say goshak followed by the item keyword. When he asks for confirmation, answer mok.
  5. Say futchi to end the conversation.
Important route notes
  • The script accepts money from carried gold plus bank balance.
  • burp is learned as no, but the purchase nodes reset on any non-mok answer.
